I was born and raised in the vibrant, tropical city of My Tho in southern Vietnam, where the Mekong Delta's lush rivers and bustling markets shaped my early years. Most of my childhood unfolded there, filled with the simple joys of family gatherings, street food adventures, and the rhythm of a close-knit community. That all changed when my family made the bold decision to immigrate to the United States as I began my 10th grade. We first settled briefly in Vietnam, where I attended the well-known Nguyen Dinh Chieu High School, but soon after, we relocated to Anchorage, Alaska—a world away in every sense, from the snowy winters to the midnight sun.

In Anchorage, I dove headfirst into a new chapter at Dimond High School, navigating the cultural shifts while embracing the opportunities. It was a transformative time, blending resilience with growth, and I was honored to graduate with distinction, diploma in hand, ready for what came next. Eager to build a foundation in a field that marries business savvy with cutting-edge tools, I enrolled in the Management Information Systems program at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Those years were a whirlwind of late-night coding sessions, group projects, and invaluable lessons in data-driven decision-making, culminating in my bachelor's degree—a milestone that felt like a bridge between my roots and my ambitions.

Professionally, I kicked things off with two dynamic years at a financial institution in Anchorage, honing my skills in operations and analysis amid Alaska's unique economic landscape. But the call of warmer horizons and bigger challenges led me southward to California, where I landed a role that's kept me inspired ever since. Today, I'm still with the same innovative company, contributing to projects that leverage technology to solve real-world problems and drive efficiency. It's been a rewarding ride, one that's taught me the power of adaptability and the thrill of continuous learning.
